Instinct Crossover and Instinct Crossover AMOLED

If the hands of your Garmin Crossover AMOLED watch are misaligned with the digital hands, it may be due to factors such as shock, temperature changes, or magnetic fields.

To correct this, you can manually calibrate the watch hands by following these steps:

  1. From the watch face, hold MENU.

  2. Select Settings > Analog Hands.

  3. Select Misstep Calibration > Calibrate Now to calibrate the watch hands.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to manually align the watch hands and reset the basis for calibration.

If the hands still do not align correctly after calibration, you may need to adjust the specific position of each hand through Set Alignment. This involves using the MENU and ABC buttons to shift the position of the minute and hour hands to center them between the lines under the 12 o'clock position. Press GPS to confirm the positioning.

The Instinct® Crossover series watches offer physical analog watch hands along with digital smartwatch technology. If the physical hands are not in the right position, the watch offers calibration options to correct the misalignment.

Misstep Calibration

The general calibration for the hands is called a Misstep Calibration. By default, the watch will automatically correct the position of the hands in the General Use and During Activity modes to make sure the hands point the correct direction. If you notice the hands are off, you can manually calibrate the hands by following the instructions listed below.

  1. Hold  MENU.

  2. Select System or Settings.

  3. Select Hands or Analog Hands.

  4. Select Misstep Calibration.

  5. Select Calibrate Now.

When calibrating, the hands will spin completely around and rest in a straight horizontal line while in the menu. If after doing a Misstep Calibration, the hands still do not seem to be aligned, it is possible to adjust the specific position of each hand through Set Alignment.

  6. Use the  MENU and  ABC buttons to shift the position of the minute hand to center it between the lines under the 12 o'clock position.

  7. Press  GPS to confirm the positioning.

  8. Use the  MENU and  ABC buttons to shift the position of the hour hand to center it between the lines under the 12 o'clock position.
